About Mandi.

Amanda (or “Mandi” for short) was born on Feb. 24th.  She has a degree in Management Information Systems from Penn State Erie and currently works as a computer programmer/analyst.  Her favorite hobbies are knitting and spinning, but she also enjoys all sorts of other crafty things like sewing, scrapbooking, etc.  She also loves animals and dreams of having a small hobby-farm someday.

About Nick.

Nick was born Nov. 5th.  He graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute (Wyotech) where he studied automotive technology, high-performance, and fabrication.  He currently works as an automotive electronics installer and puts stereos, alarm systems, and all sorts of other gadgets into cars, trucks, and even boats.  He enjoys autocross racing in his Conquest and off-roading in his Jeep.  He also loves computers and video games and pretty much every other new electronics-gadget out there.

How We Met.

Nick and Mandi met in December 1999 when they were both counselors at Camp Fitch.  He was a junior in high school, and Mandi was a senior.  The summer after that, they started hanging out together at “The Hangout” in Edinboro and became good friends.  About a year after when they met, they started dating.

Nick and Mandi dated all through Mandi’s college career and though Nick’s.  They got engaged in March 2006, after dating for just over 5 years.

The Wedding.

Nick and Mandi tied the knot on October 6, 2008.  It was a beautiful, sunny, 80-degree day in Erie.  The wedding was held at First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant and was officiated by Reverend Townsend.  Mandi’s attendants were her friends Melanie, Erica, Megan, and Sarah.  Nick’s attendants were his friends Dave and Brett, and his cousin Jason.  The flowergirl was Nick’s cousin Kayla and the ring bearer was Mandi’s godson, Ryan.  The couple travelled in a horse-drawn carriage, and the wedding party followed in a white limousine.  The reception was held at historic Union Station.  There was a lovely buffet dinner, huge cookie table, and lots of dancing late into the evening.  The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada before returning to their home near Nashville, Tennessee.
